Dayao collects only the data you choose to send, mainly through the quote form: your contact details, details about your part or product, the files you upload, and your NDA request. The form also records which page you used and how you reached the site. Dayao does not collect payment card numbers on this website and does not buy personal data from other companies.

You can request a quote without giving a phone number, company or target price; only your name, email, quantity and consent are required.

Why Does Dayao Use Your Data, and on What Legal Basis?

Dayao uses your data to answer your request, prepare a quote and, if you order, make and ship your parts or products. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this is processing needed to take steps before a contract and to perform it. Dayao also relies on its legitimate interest to keep business records and protect the site, and on your consent where the form asks for it.

How Are Your Drawings and Files Protected?

Dayao treats your drawings, 3D models and product ideas as confidential. Files are used only to review, quote and make your order, and only the engineers, production and quality staff working on it see them. Dayao can sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before you send any file. Dayao does not sell, publish or reuse your designs for other customers.

• NDA before files. Tick “Please send me an NDA” in the quote form, or ask by email, and send drawings after it is signed.
• Need-to-know access. Files are opened by the engineers, production and quality staff on your project.

• Your files, on request. You can ask Dayao to delete files from a quote that did not become an order.

Who Does Dayao Share Your Data With?

Dayao does not sell or rent personal data. It shares data only with service providers that help run the business — such as the website host, the email provider and the form tool — and, for orders, with banks, freight forwarders, couriers and customs brokers that need it to move payment and goods. Dayao also shares data when Chinese law or a court requires it.

Where Is Your Data Stored, and Does It Leave Your Country?

Dayao is based in China, so data you send is handled by Dayao staff in China. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or another country, sending a quote request to Dayao means your data is transferred to China. Such transfers are allowed when they are necessary to answer your request or perform a contract with you, as GDPR Article 49(1)(b) describes. Dayao also follows China’s Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL).

How Long Does Dayao Keep Your Data?

Dayao keeps personal data only as long as it needs it. Quote requests that do not become orders are kept for a limited period so that a later order can refer back to them, then deleted. Order records, contracts and invoices are kept for as long as Chinese accounting and tax law requires. You can ask for earlier deletion of anything the law does not require Dayao to keep.

Does dayaotek.com Use Cookies or Tracking?

At the time of writing, dayaotek.com does not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies. Two outside services are loaded to display the pages: Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces, and cdnjs (Cloudflare), which supplies the 3D library on the Product OEM / ODM page. Like any web request, these services receive your IP address. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated first.
